Private skating tour
This excursion is an easy and safe way to enjoy the peace and beauty of winter nature, gain skating experience and ice skills. No previous skating experience or training is required. Guided by an experienced and trained professional who knows the best routes and conditions.

A PACKAGE SUGGESTED IN THE BASIC PRICE:
Duration of the event: c. 2 h
Programme:
- Equipment handover and instruction, 15 min.
- Ice info, 10 min.
- Skating on natural ice, 30 min
- Break in a scenic spot with own snacks, 20 min
- Skating to the starting point, 30 min
- Finishing and unloading of equipment, 15 min
Level of difficulty: Depending on the needs and abilities of the participants.The aim is for the client to enjoy the peace and scenery of winter nature.
Skating area: Particularly safe ice skating areas will be chosen. We know the best conditions and areas. We prefer to skate in the stunning seascapes of East Helsinki. We usually start from our office at Kallandenniementie 35 (Kulttuurikeskus Sofia). Google Maps. Car can be parked in the parking lot of Culture Centre Sofia. Bus 816 runs on weekdays.
Group size: the basic price includes one skater.

Guiding language: Finnish, Swedish, English, French (also Spanish, German, Russian)
Basic price: 196 €/person (incl. VAT). Additional skaters à 98 €
Price includes: skating and safety equipment: skates, boots, ice-claws, whistle, ice poles, ice-measuring device, helmet, knee pads, floating rucksack, throwing line.
Guidance/teaching. Handing over of equipment and instruction in its use. Ice safety information. Accident insurance.
You can also participate with your own skates or equipment. Please inform us in advance.
Weather: conditions may sometimes necessitate a change of departure point. This happens surprisingly rarely.
If sea ice does not permit skating, we skate on natural ice or ploughed tracks on nearby lakes. If the weather does not allow skating at all, we can offer alternative nature sports such as kicksparking or snowshoeing.
Clothing: by wearing layers, you can ensure that you are warm, but can also wear lighter clothing if needed. We recommend a base layer, wool or fleece jacket, windproof trousers and jacket, gloves and a hat. You should also bring a change of clothes, a warm drink and snacks.
Recommended equipment: a change of clothes, a break jacket. Sunglasses in sunny weather, paper towels.

Extra hours: 80 € / h
Car: Rideto and from the nearest metro "Rastila" 30 €
Change of location: organising skating at the location of your choice from + 80 € (depending on ice conditions).
Other additional services: a ice-skating training can easily be added to the tour. Or a quality lunch or accommodation organised by one of our partners.
