We offer a full training path for backcountry skiing.
You can start by taking part in a free Expedition Skating Evening or an Exploratory Skating. The beginner course, which is equivalent to the entry level training of the Finnish Skateboarders, includes a Theory part and a Training Tour. Completion of the beginners' course entitles you to participate in the organised excursions. The Advanced Course includes a wide range of training sections on skating technique, ice-skating skills, rescue and special conditions.
Courses are usually held in the stunning scenery of East Helsinki. The courses are suitable for anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature, local sports and ecological hiking. We can also provide quality skating equipment for hire if required.
