Introductory Tour on Wild Ice – Easy and Safe

Join us to experience the magic of natural ice, guided by an experienced and certified instructor.
No previous experience is needed. If you have never skated or skied before, you can also join with a kick sled.

The tour lasts about two hours. We’ll take a short break in a beautiful natural setting to enjoy snacks and the peaceful archipelago landscape.
If you are a trained skater and would like to introduce the sport to a friend, you can join for free.

Program:

– Equipment fitting and ice safety briefing
– Skating or kick sledding on natural ice
– Snack break in a scenic spot
– Return to the starting point and equipment check-in

Duration: approx. 2 hours
Group size: 4–12 participants. The tour may be rescheduled if fewer than 4 people sign up.
Starting point: Depending on ice conditions, usually from East Helsinki (Kallvikinniementie 35, Google Maps).

Included in the price:

– Equipment (tour skates or kick sled, boots, helmet, buoyant backpack, and safety gear)
– Instruction, ice safety information, and guiding services
– Accident insurance

You can also pay for the tour using employee sports benefits: Epassi, Smartum, or Edenred directly in our online store.
Instructions for using Edenred can be found under the menu item “Liikuntasetelit / Maksaminen Edenredillä”.

What to bring:

Dress according to the weather and in layers.
We recommend a base layer, a wool or fleece mid-layer, water- and windproof pants and jacket, gloves, and a hat.

📋 Booking instructions:
When booking, please write your shoe size (or desired kick sled size S/M/L) in the field “Add a note for merchant.”

If the weather does not allow skating, we’ll switch to kick sleds, reschedule the tour, or refund your payment.
The same applies if fewer than four people have registered.

Moving with nature makes every trip unique – and that’s exactly what makes it so special.
