Canoe paddling from Malkasaari – An Easy Archipelago Adventure in Helsinki (1 h)
Escape the rush of the city and experience Helsinki’s eastern archipelago from the water. This beginner-friendly canoe tour takes you into beautiful nature, and into the unique atmosphere of the summer archipelago – no previous kayaking experience needed.
The tour starts and ends on Malkasaari Island, which is easily accessible by scheduled ferry connections from Meritullintori, Kalasatama, Herttoniemi, Laajasalo, and Vuosaari. The tours are coordinated with ferry timetables, making participation easy and convenient.
We paddle stable and easy-to-use open canoes along safe routes under the guidance of a professional instructor. During the tour, you can enjoy the sea breeze, the silence of the archipelago, and the beauty of the surrounding nature at a relaxed pace. There is also time to rest on the cliffs, take a swim, or enjoy your own snacks.
